i want to use formmail.pl on my site to get data in my email, does any body help me to do this.

I made a form on my one site with the help of one person, now i copy and paste that form in my other site, and also i upload formmail.pl in cgi-bin , but this form is not working and my first site form is working, all text seems to be correct and path of formail.pl is seems to be ok , but when i press send it give me error.

Does formmail.pl need any change or only html file work for this.

Make sure you change the permissions to 755. Also, make sure you uploaded the form in ASCII, not binary.

What is this (Make sure you change the permissions to 755.) I upload formmail.pl through cpanel to my site so i think its ok, but what do you mean for permission

If you are using cpanel, then go to the file manager and find your form. Once you do, change the permissions (on the right hand side) to 755

if you're using the same script in the same cgi-bin for both sites & if it's only giving you an error from the second site, make sure to add it's domain to the referrers section in the script.

in formmail.pl at one place i wrote my domain and Ip
and in one place i put my email address where i need email
and in html file i also mentioned that email
but its still giving error

Check your ICQ I set it up for you.

You can also CHMOD through FTP application.
Right click on formmail.pl>select CHMOD>change it to: 755

tell me what you have did, I want to know because i want to make more changes and want to create a new form, so tell me what you have did, I did everything my html page seems to be correct, and in formmail.pl i mentioned my site, my ip, my email, and also i put permission to first 775 then 770 but not worked from me

What you did to make it correct

I changes Thankyou page and error page but it is not working now, i just only chage that addresses

Just a quick question, you want to offer hosting and you don't even know the chmod command nor how to configure formmail? Something is wrong :(

Are you uploading it in binary or ASCI mode.
Why dont you post your formmail here so that everyone can have a look at it
