since when do you offer advice on sending wht customers to the help desk of the company in question? (http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=203155&perpage=15&pagenumber=3)


i'll tell you right now, if you guys are going to be running the show around here for now on please do me a big favor and delete my account.

9 pages and 3 pages. One issue resolved, one unresolvable. Hardly what I would call shutting down threads quickly.

And to answer your question, Rochen and Akash are certainly not new here.

i have never seen them on here before. i wanted to comment on both threads and before i turned my back there both closed. i dont think they should have been closed so quickly and i dont think we need wht leaders telling us when to email the company directly.

They have every right to tell people to email the company directly. This is not a third party support forum for other companies.

Samborocks, what seems to be the problem ? WHT is really not the place to settle personal issues with the web host. There is nothing wrong in contacting the web host and having the issue settled between the parties involved.

WHT is not a Hosting Court and we are not jury or judge. By the way, Rochen and Akash have been around for quite sometime now. If I were in their shoes, I would have shut down those threads long before they actually did, once the issue is resolved or when the thread is going nowhere.

i just thought the threads should have gone on a little longer to let more people view the tactics of some companies. i thought this was a place where we could all come together and let others know of practices that are taking place which most of us do not agree upon. then we can make an informative decision when time comes to purchase services. maybe im wrong, wouldnt be a first, thanks

When the threads are closed, it is still open for public view. You just cannot post to it further.

ahem.. Doesn't this thread belong in the WHT Announcements and questions.

Your post was entirely uncalled for, had no semblance of professionalism or decency, was in the wrong forum, was in violation of board rules, and was inappropriate in every manner. Other than that, I have no problem with it.

I didn't offer any advice. I said exactly what I said - WHT isn't a place for a host to offer direct support to their customers and it isn't a place for a customer to ask for direct support from their hosts.

We're not running any show. Both of us are 2 Community Leaders, who have both been here for a long time(3 years for me in January).
