anyone else have alot of customers getting their cards declined with paysystems? I have lost about $300 this month already. 2 of them claimed they ended up going with other hosting companies and the same card worked fine over there. paysystems doesnt have any answers for me. It's been like every 4th customer lately that get their card declined. not sure if its the cardholder or paysystems but it just seems like an awful lot of declines lately.

My card was declined by Paysystems because I used my Malaysia credit card to buy hosting service. But I'm currently in Singapore. Seems they detected my ip was from Singapore but I claimed that I'm a Malaysian....:(

This is why I decided to use 2CO.

On these trans that are declined, are they all international or is there any commonality between them?

And... are they declined by the network or are they being declined by PaySystems on their side? (i.e. due to IP, AVS, CVV2, etc.)

yeah all that get declined seem to be from europe or asia. I dont know the reason its getting declined. I just keep getting 201:The transaction was declined. Paysystems hasnt answered any of my support tickets in 4 days. They have morons working the chat help. I am constantly waiting 5-10 minutes for each reply and then all they give are one word answers that doesnt even relate to my question.

Why don't use Paypal instead? I'm happy with it now :D
Only have a customer who do not trust paypal and he paid by 2CO.

It is quite possible that PaySystems is blocking transactions from certain areas that they feel are "too high risk" for them and that is the reason for the declines.

Without knowing if the trans are being declined internally by PaySystems or externally by the bankcard network - it is impossible to say for sure.

For folks who have their own merchant accounts, they could of course control whether or not certain transactions would be acceptable but sometimes it is hard to tell exactly -why- it is declined if it is with a 3rd party processor.

One would -think- they could just look up the reason code in their database but .. <shrug> ?
