Will someone please tell me whether or not CI Web Hosting is a good place to host with. I am currently looking at their package for the 1 year unix server package which is $200 for everything. I'd appreciate any feedback on this host. Chao!

They're being completely sarcastic.
Let me clue you in: This plan is not worth over $500/month.

You can purchase this server for $1600 and own it. I urge you to pass up this deal, it is a complete rip-off.

As far as 507 IP addresses, IP addresses are relatively cheap. It's the bandwidth per month that is expensive, and for $1600/month you could get at least 3x as much as that plan includes.

guys check this out and see what im talking about.....does anyone here have any experience with them? I want to get their unix plan w/ the 800 mb of space and everything....just the part that screws me up a little and that im uneasy about is the 'unlimited bandwidth deal'.....that's really fishy. gimme some feedback on that please. Peace :-)

Might I suggest you carefully read http://ciwebhosting.com/terms.shtml ;

And I think $20 a GB for average is way too much. ;)

They appear to be in the ***** data center. You might want to do a search of this forum to check out the reliability of the ***** data center.

There is nothing like unlimited bandwith transfer. Most companies that say that are counting on sites that we call "ghost sites" to lower their bandwith transfer.
Ghost sites are sites that have little or no activities at all.
You will have to read the fine print and make your decision.
