Here's a question that has probably been asked before, but I can't find it anywhere.
When mail gets sent from a virtual account on my Raq4, the header info shows username@www.host.com. Is there any way to fix this?
I'm having the same problem with web-based email, and from people sending mail via mailing lists on the server.
This is generally controlled by the email client software. For example, in outlook and pine, you can specify what your return address should be. Also, be sure to put in the appropriate aliases for the email.

Ok, I'm not talking about the return address/from information. I'm talking about the info that gets shoved in the header of the email.

It is going to show the name of the server, which in this case, it seems you named the server www.host.com. I named mine a dummy domain that I don't use.

Well, the www.host.com part was ficticious, but I see what you're saying. So I should have named the machine something different to start with, huh? That sucks.
