hello,
I need a cheap and reliable hosting.

I took an hosting packet from www.2mhost.com but I see some bad reviews from these forums.
I had no problem with 2mhost.com since 2.5 months, but after reading bad reviews I didnt want to buy a hosting packet fro them.

My site will be a little software distribution site (a database program that I wrote).
I think these will be adequate for me : 25-50 MB web space, monthly 2 gb transfer, 5-10 pop mail account, Php.

I was looking hostsearch.com to find hosting but I see some very unreliable reviews at there (in my opinion).

Please help me. Thanks.

Note: if my english too bad, excuse me.

2 Questions for you to think about.

1) What do you mean by "cheap". That seems to be a relative term & it might help us give you better answers if we knew what price range you are looking for.

2) "Cheap & Reliable" - It's a balancing act, isn't it? Since reliability is part of what you are paying for, the cheapest account out there might not be the best for you.

Thank you for answer;
I think to give for a half year 15$, or yearly 25$. In normal cases I think to pay monthly and more but there is hyper inflation at our country (Turkiye) like Argentina, for that reason I can't prefer (for me) expensive hosts.

May be ridiculous but an US$ = aproximately 1,450,000 Turkish liras and increasing.

<<MOD EDIT:>>
First part of post removed. We haven't determined if mods will be able to post yet, please hold off posting until a decision is made.
<</MOD EDIT>>

If your site is initially for downloading files, why not use briefcase.yahoo.com to store your downloads, then just link to them. They give you 30mb for free, bandwedth free.

I will look there, but I am not a student now. Is it a barrier for signing up ?
