Hi there,

Today I went into the admin section of my Raq4r and check the "active monitor" to find a yellow warning. I came to find that some sites all of a sudden had "Unlimited" Mb storage. I certainly didn't set this up and wonder how this happened.

There are 6 sites that now have "Unlimited" web space. Only 1 of those have a yellow ball beside it (and it only has 3.2 meg used - 7605meg free)

I can go in through the gui and click on the site settings and they are as they're supposed to be, with 20 meg of space... same with the site administrator setting. When I click "save" and then go back to the active monitor that site returns to normal.

Just wondering how/why this happened and if I should be concerned.

I'd appreciate any help.

My advice would be to not give out telnet access and change your password for security reasons. Also, make sure that you have the latest security patches installed. If this still continues to happen, there may be a bug in your system.

I assume Reg didn't mean telnet in special, he meant shell accounts in general. why should clients need more than ftp access?

there's a package aid cobalt-aid to fix quotas every night; http://cobalt-aid.sourceforge.net/files/Features/Intel/Quota.pkg
I didn't test it, install at your own risk.... ;)
