Ugly graphics, but it does what it says it will. Medium learning curve. jic 09-07-2001, 12:35 AM Big Brother is good for UNIX but if you want a really good program use WhatsUP. That thing is really configurable and can page you etc. etc. every 10 minutes with server updates. Its really nice especially when you wanna leave the NOC for lunch hehe lotuslnd 09-07-2001, 12:57 AM hey guys, i've tried WUG and big brother ... i hate the layout of big brother, but it seems to be far more stable than WUG. maybe it's just me, but putting a network monitor on an NT machine seems like a bit of an oxy moron. i definately like the layout of WUG though. i've tried npulse (from the same guy(s) that did nmap). personally, i thought it was terrible. the pages loaded very slow and it took ages to add hosts to the configuration. UmBillyCord 09-07-2001, 01:59 AM http://www.netsaint.org/ OK graphics, but it does what it says it will. Medium learning curve. Does everything you asked. Plus one advantage, it uses less resources then BB. We have it running on a RAQ2 checking a few hundred services.
