I am hosting with affordablehost.com at their carme server... for the last 3 hours my site has been down... anyone else expiriencing the same problem... and knowing what the problem is?!

It's only http://nenad.net access that's down... mail and ftp is working quite nicely... I mailed them, but no response yet...

One possibility is that their Apache has failed. It happens to all hosts :) I suggest giving them a call and let them know.

Restarted Apache, all is well now.

This is NOT a slam on nenad at all - honest! However, for ANYONE reading this post (no matter who your host is!):

If a server is unreachable, it is much more productive to phone your host and let them know....rather than post somewhere and ask if anyone else is having problems.

This particular problem could have been solved in less than 5 minutes, had we been phoned or paged. :)

I'm sorry, I didn't want to make any bad reviews or anything like that, just as I am behind the firewall at work and couldn't do so much but reading easymonitor.com status, and all the other net-tools that I could use has been giving me quite mixed answers...

...so I just wanted to check if that was something local here at work, local as in Europe local or your server was having problems (that's why I e-mailed you)... that's why I asked if anyone else was having any problems...

In case I have to do this again, I will try to explain (so much)better... but of course I'll first contact you... as I did in this case as well :)

I have one site with affordablehost.com , and I am very pleased with Tech support and uptime. Before signing up, I emailed them several times (Tina), at all hours of the day/night, and response time was excellent.

Before signing up, I monitored the sites of their customers, and ALL received "Very Good" rating from NetMechanic.com Server Check. I continue to monitor my site http://hotnewmedia.com
and have no complaints so far. This is my first month with them though.

Just my 2 cents worth.
