Thank You sprintserve 11-05-2003, 07:33 AM It is fairly accurate. The variance is probably not worth bothering over usually. mithilesh 11-05-2003, 07:38 AM According to my knowledge I agreed with you.But I am surprised with nocster billing department because they are charging me for 60% extra bandwidth usage comparatively WHM calculation and they told me they are right . I think this really very bad . CrazyTech 11-05-2003, 08:10 AM This is ONLY http, ftp and pop traffic (usually 97% of traffic), please use a tool like bandmin or mrtg to see traffic on other ports. If the user is doing traffic on other ports it will not appear here. I suppose if you use some other port for traffic it may not be accurate. ;) I think overall though that it is fairly accurate, but I have had problems with it freezing stats before. sprintserve 11-05-2003, 08:37 AM Well, Nocster may be right. Over normal usage, Cpanel will log correctly. However it is possible to bypass the Cpanel logging by using an IP I believe. (for example instead of using the domain name it uses an IP) I think I have an account done it before. Do check your bandmin and see if it agrees with Nocster. Bandmin will be fairly accurate. |
