View Full Version : Enom Redirectors, Mickey Mouse!
bandari 11-04-2003, 11:35 AM | Hi
I have been having constant problems with enom redirectors specially URL Frame for the past 24 hrs. Specially on .uk domains. Any one else experienced the same?
Cheers |
dmaven 11-04-2003, 11:41 AM Yes it gives Redection DB errors every once in a while. I also think e-mail forwarding is affected as well |
bandari 11-04-2003, 11:59 AM | Are you getting it on .uk domain or another tld? |
dmaven 11-04-2003, 12:25 PM mostly .coms, it is sporadic |
bandari 11-04-2003, 01:51 PM I have contacted enom, last night and today and they have still to sort the problem out. This is unacceptable :( |
Acroplex 11-04-2003, 02:00 PM Where does Mickey Mouse fit in this picture? |
bandari 11-04-2003, 02:09 PM It is an expression we use in UK which means it's playing up or doesn't work properly.
:) |
Acroplex 11-04-2003, 02:23 PM Old Walt would not be amused :D |
protecweb 11-04-2003, 02:27 PM Having spent the last month scripting a site for the Enom API i can say im a bit stressed about all this. They have had constant network issues, server problems and now i hear this
ahh well thats life i suppose. If things dont improve i will be looking elsewhere. |
bandari 11-04-2003, 02:50 PM The only reason I went with enom was their bells and whistles. Let's face it their prices are no longer that great, they don't offer weekend live support and I have had constant headaches. This is not the first time that this redirecor problem thingy has happened either I had an exact same problem a month ago.
There are a lot more ICANN registrars with better prices than enom.
If they don't get their s*** together I will leave too. You can only put up with so much. |
dmaven 11-05-2003, 11:59 AM The forwarding seems to be working fine today, hope it stays that way |

The forwarding works alright but now some of my domains have problems with cloaking. The URL Frame is not cloaking for some unknown reason  |
Philco 11-06-2003, 06:23 AM I`m having problems with forwarding mail through namecheap from a programme using sendmail, normal mail sent through is delivered ok.?? can`t figure that out.. |

Managed to solve this eventually. The problem was with thew client's html code. He uses cool page to design the pages and the software puts in a short line of code which messes up the cloacking. Remove the code and you are back in business. |
