I'm considering co-locating my server with eFreeServers.com and so far I couldn't find anything bad on them in the forums (which is good :)). Are there anybody here who has a server with them? How is their tech support?
How fast does it usually take them to respond to your e-mails? Trouble tickets? Manual reboot requests?
Also, if you don't mind, can you please e-mail me the IP address of your server? I promise not to eat much bandwidth -- I just like to traceroute to it from different places to see how's their network connected to the Internet.

I am building a server now to put on colo with efreeservers. All my phone calls have been answered promptly. I expect to install it around the 21st. Fortunately, I live "fairly" close to their facility, so I will get to see it first hand. I will make posts as information comes available.

RutRow,
Did you ask them if you are allowed to go into the facility 24/7 or during working hours?

I was told that I would have 24/7 access with card-key and bio-scan. Same thing I have with my colo in Dallas, at Level3. A 1 hour notice to security was also required.
The parent company of efreeservers is econtinents.com. Their web page is quite similar.

We have a dedicated server with eFreeServers however whenever we have a problem, they are there to answer via the telephone or a quick call back. We had a server reboot this morning at 8am EST, which is 5am Pacific time and they had it up and running with a manual reboot in less than 30-45 minutes.

Why not run traces from traceroute.org to their server's main ip address?

econtinents is the parent company ?
or another company that is coloing with them or reselling them ???
just curious as the econtinents has free dns services which would help with the dell app servers they have
will have to shoot them off a email to ask but good info
I always thought the other way around that econtinents was a reseller of efreeservers

Nearly exactly the same was happen to a server of us a couple of days before. The only difference is that 5 minutes after sending the mail they rebooted the server. :D
