CactusCounty 11-03-2003, 05:01 AM It's starting to come back within the realms of reality? |
immotive 11-03-2003, 07:05 AM | wow... someone give up his collection ?? :P |
Vladimir S. 11-03-2003, 07:59 PM I dont see good domains in this list. |
obviousl 11-03-2003, 10:03 PM Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
g69.net would be ok.
of7.net is another one that could be ok to use.

SoftWareRevue 11-03-2003, 10:08 PM Heh . . . I grabbed of7 right after you posted the list.
Thanks! |
obviousl 11-03-2003, 10:18 PM Glad you found this listing to be of some use SWR.
Chris |
Here I am showing my ignorance (a common occurrence, I'm afraid  )
What makes of7.net more appealing than the others in the list?
Teach me, teach me... :D

obviousl 11-03-2003, 11:02 PM Hey Vito,
Of7.net has a word in it, also o and f are prime letters.
Of7.net is also a bit catchy :D
Wait till timechange finds this thread, then we will hear his point of view!

SoftWareRevue 11-03-2003, 11:05 PM I'm thinking some cool sub-domains maybe.
The league.of7.net
For $5.41, I can play a while. :D |
dpendor 11-03-2003, 11:05 PM domains with letters and numbers have NEVER been of any value.
You can buy .com's like above on a daily basis at ebay for 0.01 - 1.00
sure there might be a few instances where xl0.com or something is a network card interface given it a sort of value. trust me when I say it has no monetary value. |
SoftWareRevue 11-03-2003, 11:09 PM I'll give you $2 for of7.com. You will, at least, double your money.
Right now. My wallet's open. |
I understand. Thanks for the feedback. Although, I may be wrong, but when looking at sales threads that offer domain names, I've bought my share of domains, but I've always stayed away from certain types of names. For instance, if a domain (that is not a dictionary word) has an "o" in it, I stay away because I think it might be confused with the number "0". Similarly, examples like l33.net (l could be confused for 1). It just seems to me that if one of the characters could be mistaken for another, it would bring the value of the domain down a notch.
Then again, that's why I am not in the domain business (you must stick to what you know... :D ) What the hell do I know?
Vito |
obviousl 11-03-2003, 11:54 PM there is no money in 3 character domains?
I beg to differ, I have sold a lot of 3 character domains that have a letter-number-number , letter-letter-number , number-letter-letter or number-number-letter combination.
I like to collect these which have the same digit repeated or the same letter repeated.
There is a market out there, you just need to know how to get in touch with it ;)
Chris
PS: if you have of7.com I will offer you $3 thus tripling your investment :D |

Vito, you can always read this great resource about domains (http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=100194) that I started a long time ago. |
Hehe, nice try, TC. I now (finally) recognize the thread ID. :D
You can't get me anymore. Even if I'm dead tired.
