I think that there should be an award for "member of the month"
a person that has helped out alot over the month and such like.
We could also have lamer of the month - the person who spam's the most rubbish and such :)

We could go and vote through out the month.. dont know how it would be done though:)

Just think it would be a nice idea since that some people here deserve that sorta thing. Like Gorden from Hostroute or Tim geer

i dont think so. if we setup a poll think how many ppl would have to be listed? we cant list everyone on each poll..who would decide who we can vote on?

yea.. they have both been a great help to myself and i know others on the forum, we should get some tshirts made with "memeber of the month - WHT" on :)

I havent thought on how it would be done - was just a random thought :)

I have an idea to create a hack for it.

The buttons for WWW, PM, and etc etc should include one more button like VOTE THIS USER AS MEMBER OF THE MONTH

The link would be like:

motm.php?userid=XXXXX

and the motm.php would retrieve the data and would add it to a separate table in the database.

And then on the main page you can post a poll for the member of the month which have the most votes.

May be I can post the hack later If I get a chance to buy vBulletin.

You should have point system liker sitepointforums.com has, it's really cool... earn point for everything you do and then at the end of the month just check who got the highest amount.. :)

The point system is good, although there were problems with it there, not sure if they were ever solved or not.

There's a Karma hack someone released over at vB... by Overgrow... Its not free -- but its not a lot of money either...

Send him an email and he may respond back -- someone bought the script from him a week and a half ago, and plastered over a number of warez boards... so he's ticked... Understandable...
