Hello there,
We have a server which runs cpanel/whm on redhat6.2 and a client requested to have frontpage extensions installed on his account - however - he is having major problems it seems. Well not major, just weird and it really has us here boggled over whats causing it.

Problem:
He has a site which is around 15MB in size of html/images and uses frontpage to upload his site to us.
However, when uploading the page after its finnished it seems to have 2 entrys of the html.
its sort of like hes uploaded it 2 times but without overwriting it - its added onto the end.
SO he has 2 entrys of the html for the same page.. if you get what i mean.

I personally do not use frontpage - so i had alook into it and i seemed to be able to upload a page ok - although - his responce was:
"Your sample page does work, because there's no navigational structure on it, these are part of the frontpage extensions, if I load the page via FTP these will be missing."

Fair enuff i thought - he knows frontpage probly better than myself. Still, the problem is still there.
He has re-installed frontpage - restarted his PC. I have restarted apache, re-installed his account, re-installed frontpage extensions countless times..

So now im wondering if anyone else has had this kind of problem ?

thanks for those that reply :)

Regards

Craig

Well - it turned out to be a client side problem, some of the files in his site were causing frontpage to loopback and restart for some reason.
He does however, have 1600 files upload and he says he only has 150pages on his site.

now there is bloat ware for you :)
