Well that would somewhat depend on how you installed it :D. Did you install from source or from a RPM? What OS are you running?

I'm running Windows 98 and yes, this is a localhost not a webserver. I have the binary version.

MySQL should have been put into the Add/Remove programs list in the Control Panel for Windows. Look there. ;)
