UmBillyCord 09-05-2001, 01:08 AM Are you looking for "cheap" so you can have over burdoned servers, poor service, crappy support, and terrible reliability for your customers? RunOfTheMill 09-05-2001, 01:16 AM LOL. Amen to that. SoftWareRevue 09-05-2001, 02:58 AM To me, there's a difference between "cheap" and "affordable." So, I'll wait for Jburnley to answer UmBillyCord before I really add anything to this. hilda 09-05-2001, 09:22 AM donhost.com is very cheap but some people here think their service is not the best. Better to find a medium priced host but with support. spider 09-05-2001, 11:03 AM I agree with SoftWareRevue. "Cheap" and "Affordable" are two different words. Somebody is asking a good and polite question. sysweb 09-05-2001, 02:23 PM Just to say - donhost has got a lot better over th last few months, at one point I was looking to move on - but must say I'm quite happy with there current service. new-webmaser 09-05-2001, 07:38 PM I used Mega-RES program before i got my dedicated, not cheap .. but real hosting http://www.2mhost.com/megares.html creid 09-05-2001, 07:44 PM How was 2mhost?Did you like them? smartmlp 09-05-2001, 08:03 PM What do you meen pricy? this is good! Jburnley 09-05-2001, 08:38 PM True, I agree with SoftWareRevue, there is certainly a difference between cheap and affordable...I guess I should have said affordable. Umbillycord, you dont need to reply if you do not have an answer to my question. Obviously no body wants poor service, but like you know not everyone that offers an affordable service necessarily offers a poor service, may be you do but not all hosts out there. It is still possible to offer good quality service at prices most prospects will afford. Can anyone with some sense provide any answers? smartmlp 09-05-2001, 08:42 PM This looks like a GREAT HOST! http://www.2mhost.com/megares.html I went to the site, and right there I clicked on the Human Click, 2 sec latter I was explaining my questions, 10 sec later, i got the answer and more!!! ::D :D :D :D :D :D GREAT HOST! NyteOwl 09-05-2001, 09:25 PM Looked good to me too till I got to the inevitable "unlimited bandwidth" creid 09-05-2001, 09:28 PM I know, but they said. As long as you abide by the terms your fine. And They dont allow streaming video or other stuff. It must be able to be seen by a browser. SoftWareRevue 09-05-2001, 09:33 PM You would do well to search the forums for 2mhost. Here's a recent thread http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?threadid=14750 MCHost-Marc 09-05-2001, 10:27 PM The thing with unlimited is ...sooner or later they will ALL cut you off. |
