Well, here in England on Channel 4 we've got this shriek week going on, where they show a horror film every night. They had the japanese 'The Ring 2' on last night and today is what's been marked as one of the best horror films of all time, 'The Exorcist'.
Note: It's coming on at 10pm England Time (in 5 minutes from when I post this).
So, how are you with horror films? Shaking in your boots, hiding under the seat, popcorn all over your lap, or edge of your seat, eyelids pinned up, eyes bulging...
I love horror :D I like scaring the crap out of myself for some reason  :cartman:
So, vote on the poll or don't leave your room...muhahahhaha

Most horror films remind me of bad 80's movies. There are a few good ones out there and those...cause me to hide my face so I can't see the screen, cover my ears so I can't hear it and jump on whoever is sitting next to me. But for the most part, I tend to steer clear of them. :)
Well, I have to say I'm disappointed, I've seen more than half of 'The Exorcist' now and well, there's no horror in it. There's not even any comedy. It's just plain boring.

The Ring is hella scary... I watched the first one when I was like 14 or something, in original Japanese... oh man that kept me away from TV for weeks... Anyone care for a serving of "bigmac.exe"? ^.^

Definitely need another option up there for most "horror" movies. 'Ho hum' would be good....I think I've grown jaded though. I used to watch "Creature Feature" every weekend with my dad when I was 2 or 3. Most of today's crop of movies are lacking, TCM being a recent example: that was supposed to be scary?
Another vote for the boring option.
Horror movies don't scare me and some do excite me a little but not much.
I prefer comedy and action movies. I haven't seen "The Ring" yet, I'll rent it and let you know what I think.
most are corny and boring and a waste of my precious little life.

Ahhhh.....So it's not all that everyone makes it out to be, huh?
well my life consists of sitting on a computer at work for 10 hours a day 4 days a week (or 12 hours if im working OT), sitting at home on a computer, or sleeping, or in class on a computer. i don't get out /too/ much. :p
