How to restart proftpd and exim on vdi servers?
I can't do it by webhost manager because I receive an error! Also how I can replace this file.


Any body can help me please?

Exim

/etc/rc.d/init.d/exim restart

ProFTPd

/etc/rc.d/init.d/proftpd restart

But same problem exim and proftpd failed

Any body know another step to fix this problem or tell me how I can replace this file?

Try /etc/rc.d/init.d/proftpd stop


/etc/rc.d/init.d/exim stop

And then start them.

It can be possible that the start up files are corrupted.

Look in the log files for exim and proftpd, and see if there is an error message.

or your email

the email that u used for ur webhostingtalk account
also, you dont just type /var/log/messages

that would make the machine think its a command
its not
its a file
check yoru PM
