does anyone know how to open a word document from a html document and automatically navigate to a bookmark prevuously created in the word document.

we have tried this in variuous ways but it does not seem to be working at all :(

eg:

1. word document with 4 pages and a bookmark on the third page

2. a html document with a hyperlink to the word document telling it to automatically goto page 3.

can it be done, or can it not? if it can, does anyoine know how it can be done?

You really ought to try the M$ newsgroups.

However, if you tell me what version of MS word you are using I will try and help.
