I have signed up with a host who gives me my own two nameservers on my own IPs. I have moved many clients sites on to them from my old host and changed many other to my new nameservers.

I'd like an backup plan if things don't work out. How do other hosts handle this.. for example, what is your stand-by position if your current hosts packs up shop? :confused:

I was thinking about taking up another reseller account with someome else who offers me my own nameservers but not actually using it so that I could switch over quite quickly... ie space, bandwidth etc in place but not utilised and only charged a nominal figure until its used, if ever?

Is there anyone who provides this service?

What is your exit strategy?

When I started out I was a reseller and took out reseller plans with various Alabanza hosts.
By spreading the accounts between them the risk was greatly reduced.

The best exit strategy is your ownedicated server.........
