Hi people,

Im having to decide between these 2 packages...

CitadelHost's Reseller Plan#2

or

Idologics Standard Reseller Plan,

or if you could find me a package that would be great.

I will require

2gb+ space,
40gb+ bandwidth,
unlimited domains,
unlimited subdomains,
unlimited mysql's,
unlimited pop3's
Webmail,
unlimited FTP access,
custom .htaccess,
backups of the sites,
php, html, ssi, perl, cgi,
and a good cpanel...

at the moment, i am leaning towards CitadelHost as they require everything that i need and more....

but also i thought i'd might aswell say, that my websites and the sites i will be hosting on this package are quite big, i was wondering if citadelhost will support most of these processes as i was reading the policies and agreements page and it mentioned something about process.....

anyways, any help will be much appreciated.... :)

P.S. I came across Hostelite, and i searched the forums about them, and what was being said about them was pretty negative, do you think i should totally avoid them??

Either company is a good choice, as I am sure that you can see by doing a search on these forums. By processes, this would be with scripts and the resources that they take up. Just because the site is large in size and may attract many visitors doesn't necessarily mean that they will take up large amounts of server resources.

Choose the host that best applies to what you need.

As for the 3rd host, if there is substantial amount of negative posts about the company, than it would probably be in your best interests to avoid them. Keep in mind every company will make a mistake now and then, but if there is a heavy amount of negative posts, forget about em'.

2 more to look at would be
http://www.bluewho.com
and
http://www.kualo.com

out of the ones you have I would go for Idologic just a personal preference from my interaction with that company

I won't comment on the first two, as i have haven't really heard any reviews of a substantial nature on them..

But as for the third host, don't always take WHT members word for things... especially recently, as it's growing more and more frequent that people are slating a host for absolutely ridiculous reasons.

Just this afternoon a post popped up, in which the topic starter slated a company for having a 30-60 minute average on support ticket resolution...

If you see a post that bashes a host, read it fully, and draw your own conclusions... WHT is in no way, shape or form, the "norm" in the hosting industry

jon seems like a good guy. his prices are very low. i've had an account with citadelhost for a couple of months and I have no complaints.

i don't host anything mission critical there either, just a bbs for my animation group and a few other odds and ends.
