For all of those leaving McHost I'd suggest you cancel your credit card on file. They persist in billing my card even after aknowledging my account is closed and that they will credit the previous charge.
Mchost was the best reseller value a year ago but while their service has dropped in the past year so have the prices of their competitors. I can get more bandwidth for less than half what they are still charging at this time. Add to that constant problems with the service and there is little reason to stay with this provider.

Are you still on the paysystems account? If so, contact them and get it stopped/refunded. If not, then contact your card issuer.

You don't need to cancel it, a simple phone call to your bank to inform them to stop debits from X will fix the problem.

yes just call your bank and get the bank to cancel the payment you will have to tell your bank what company is taking the money as it says on your credit card statement

I had the same experience with mchost and the only thing that stopped this is cancelling my credit card...
Also i noticed that in my last billings they changed the name of their company!
McGroup, MCCGroup, and the last one was MGroup!

I cancelled my account in August 2003, and I see charges going through from McHost. Amazing.
