I am thinking about buying webspace but i don't really need much ... well i need lots of space .. and pretty good speed and this place seems like a good idea because it is so cheap.

Right now I am at www.zacknetwork.dns2go.com/crestview ... the site isn't done and what I mainly want to add is rips of our football game. I have a capture card and am going to record all of our football games and other big events onto my computer and then broadcast them on the web. The only problem is .. is that I can't find a free host so I guess I will have to pay for one. The site needs cgi/perl .. umm maybe php for when I learn it later.... and unlimited bandwith and storage space. I am looking for one that is only like 5 $ a month and this one seems perfect.

So I was just wondering what do you more experianced web masters have to say?

Oh ya and I plan on getting the unix deal and maybe hosting a few local buisinesses in my area for a cheap price and the 5 subdomains looks good for that ... that way they can pay for my webspace as well as there own :)

Two words...stay away!

There is no such thing as unlimited spaec, nor unlimited bandwidth.

On their homepage they advertise Dual P IV with 10GB of RAM ( ) and on their plan description, a PIII 800GHZ.

It remains me of another host a while back that advertised a 800ghz cpu too.

I don't believe you'll find anyone here that will recommend a host that offers Taken from their Front PageUnlimited Webspace*.
Unlimited Bandwidth.

Found it, same servers description than http://www.technolojik.net/webhosting.htm

Both are 800ghz cpu with 256MB SD RAM and 1GB of memory.

And other lies; a RaQ4 with a 800ghz cpu (let's assume he means 800mhz) and 512MB ram -plus- 1GB memory.

Well then could you guys recomend a host that is like 5 $ - 10 $ a month that offeres alot of space cause i need to put those movie files on them (about 300 - 400 mb files). And then have alot of bandwith for people to stream them ... Probably not to many people will be downloading it since i live in a small town. But enough where i can't have those 3gb a month resitrictions. Or maybe someone knows of a free site that will let me upload them.

Well, you should look for a host using a RaQ from RackShack as they get their bandwidth cheap. An average host with a PIII server pays from $2 to $4 per GB. That's plus support, server when colocating, profit, etc. So, 3GB would cost them about $6 - $12 per month just for the bandwidth.

Some hosts with offering cheap bandwidth:

http://solidload.net/

http://www.cobaltconnection.com/
http://palmversa.com/
http://www.delphicomp.com/
http://www.civichost.com/
http://www.ecommercediscovery.com/

Disclaimer: I don't endorse anyone of these, i just went throught the advertising forums and picked those offering cheap bandwdth, but never tried them, so don't take my words on this :)
