Raqshack site seems to be down !
Are all their servers down? Or just the one they have got their site on?
Do their servers go down often?

Looks up to me.
Other than the occasional annyoing IP problems, we have been pleased with the uptime of our server.

Sorry I got the domain wrong, I typed in raqshack instead of rackshack !
But I would like to monitor a site for a month to see how good they are. Their site is not on a raq server (windows), please could somone let me know one of their site adresses on a rackshack raq4i with the 300gb offer. On www.ovh.net my actual raq4 server (www.haisoft.net if you want to test it) seems to be faster than the rackshack site but it's not on a raq server so it might be different,
Please help,
Richard

Uptime and throughput have been great for us. Take a look at our traffic statistics on our RaQ 4 at rackshack:
http://shack.pointclark.net
No noticeable downtime since we moved 2 months ago. BTW, the RaQ is hosting http://www.clarkconnect.org and a few other sites.
Cheers,
Peter

Peter!
Love your work mate. :-)
The gateway literally *falls* onto Telstra ADSL here in Australia, no matter what NICS you surprise it with.
Any more modules planned?

Peteb,
What are you using to generate those statistics? Can you give a brief how-to?
Thanks!

Great, thanks!
I know this is probably a dumb question, but can you use MRTG on a RaQ to monitor just the traffic through the local NIC, or do you have to have access to the switch SNMP agent?
Thanks

Ok! We put together a quick howto - visit http://vito.pointclark.net/howtos/mrtg.html
As for the ClarkConnect modules ... we will have a student working part-time on something later this month (he did great work building the new iptables firewall).
Cheers,
Peter

Peteb,
Thanks so much! I'll give it a try next week!
