I was reading an article written last year at CNN talking about SnapNames when they first opened. This is one clipping from the article:

"Nobody else is even attempting to do what SnapNames does," says James Grady, associate analyst with Giga Information Group. "They'll have the first mover advantage for at least six months if not a year."

Are their any other services that do what snapnames does which backorder domains that anyone knows of?

You know I could swear there is at least one other place, but I didn't bookmark it and can't remember the URL. I searched but :(

have been trying to use dotsters namewinner have nothing but probs with it going down etc.. its up and down
I must sya though I do not think it is official yet so maybe they are beta ing it ????
