I've recently signed up with them with a very nice reseller plan that was specially given to me at a low price. the webmaster claims that i will still get good support and high speed and uptime.

however, two days ago, the webmaster messed up my zones and did not fix it back even after i told him to twice. this is very bad support. it cost me 2 days of my uptime and i am definitely not happy with this kind of service.

i was supposed to write a testimonial for netstartz in return for the low price. and here is the testimonial.

STAY AWAY FROM NETSTARTZ.

Yeah I contacted the webmaster for a script update that he agreed to do( i didnt have the time to do it myself) well after about 3 weeks of saying tomorrow tomorrow, i finally gave up and did it myself. I even said if you are too busy tell me so i can either find someone else or do it myself.

Broken promises arent cool!

Hmmm, Will you be going with another company or staying with netstartz?

Thanks for the warning though, my advice, if you're not happy, look around ;)

How recent is recent? I mean, if this has been a short period of time, it's probably not a fair assessment.

So this 'testimonial' was pre-arranged then?

"i was supposed to write a testimonial for netstartz in return for the low price. and here is the testimonial."

That in itself is a bad sign. I have spoken with Steve from Netstartz before and he seemed like an ok guy.

A good guy that has more than he can handle right now.

Hello,

DarkSuiyoken - I sent you an email regarding the situation as soon as I spoke to you via chattist on the site explaining what went on and what we were doing. I'm very sorry you feel the way you do, to the point where you will come here and post "stay away from netstartz." I have done everything in my power to make you a happy customer and even offered you a nice special. If you are unhappy please just send me an email and I will refund your total prepayment + the time already used.

So this 'testimonial' was pre-arranged then?

I certainly did not tell him to go ahead and post so and so about NetStartz on wht. I have never and will never "pre-arrange" a testimonial. The statement made in the first post that the special given to him in exchange for a testimonial is not correct. We have plenty of happy customers that are more than willing to voice their opinions if/when they feel like doing so, so this would be totally unneeded and IMO unethical.

Derrick

I'm really sorry I was unable to do the script upgrade for you. I wanted to do it to help it out, because you're a nice guy and I had no problem helping you out. It's just whenever I had free time and would proceed to start something would come up that required my attention. I'm sorry about that and hope that doesn't stop you from looking my way in the future. :)

A good guy that has more than he can handle right now.
I would say this a bit of an unfair statement. I can certainly handle all the operations I have running and keep them running smoothly and successful. I would just say I'm a very busy person.

Anyway, that's it for the damage control...DarkSuiyoken, please contact me as soon as you read this so we can discuss if you want to continue your hosting or have me issue a refund. I'm sure you know any problems you've had in the past was quickly resolved, BUT you were also very quick to come here and post on WHT. So just let me know...

Best Regards.
S.C.

My statement may have been misunderstood. I meant you are a good guy that has a lot going on at this moment. "more than he can handle" was a poor choice of words.

Well, a pre-arranged testimonial isn't a right thing to do.

I have read a few good reviews on them, so probably give them some time to sort it out. I'm sure Steven would be more willingly to assist you on that matter.

well iam a costumer of netstartz and i must say their support is good. Some times there are some things forgotten but that doesn't matter (wasn't important). But when there is a problem they are always there to help. Even with not hosting questions.

By the way, this isn't a pre-arranged testimonail. I am just a pure costumer :D ... For almost 3 months!!

I've been with netstartz since day 1, and there have never been any problems whatsoever. The only downtime I noticed lasted around 2 minutes.

it's not a pre-arranged testimonial.

meaning, i'm not 100% committed to write a good testimonial.

netstartz has good services no doubt. this incident apparently is a break down in communications. i did not receive the email that was sent by netstartz. therefore, i was unable to know just how long was needed to fix my problem.

the problem has since been fixed and i apologize to netstartz for my hasty and unreliable testimonial. steven has very politely and maturely handled my problem.

now that the problem is gone, i do not recommend to stay away from netstartz, ya?

netstartz do have good suppport, i was just dumb or something. anyway, sorry to steven...

Me and Steven go back a long way. The guy is very busy but can do the work. Steven knows what his on about no doubt. His always got something going on.

DarkSuiyoken I just wonder if you got a reseller plan and you was going to be come a webhost or something. Why don't build the site and when you get access just upload the files. Instead wasting your timing to post your message about NetStartZ

my site was already up and i'm a designer. so, the uptime was important.

Great to hear. I didn't believe it myself, a bad review for NetStartZ!
