Does anyone know a email address for PayPal where you can get some results other than a automated reply?

Much appreciated.

It's nearly impossible to get in touch with PayPal, or expect a reply that is quicker than 5+ days.

Well you could always try giving them a phone call on their toll free phone number ;)

I meant a personal reply. Was yours a personal or pretyped message?

Paypal sucks at services! But actually their Idea of credit card transaction without the needs of credit card is innovative.

I just don't like their way...

They will just give you canned responces, and add a generic name to the bottom. I emailed them asking a specific question a while back, and I went back and forth a bit with them. I got a Nancy, a John, and a Beth to reply to me.

LOL, why don't they also add John Markson or Mark Johnson...
This is hillarious :P

humm.. i tot paypal had pretty great replies from the 3 who responded to me: Ruth, Jeff and XiaoBo <-- sounds like chinese to me.

Although the last follow-up looks like one from a template the other 2 was personal :P

Anyway, i am not from paypal or anything but for now, they are okie for me.

I had a problem a while back with someone from this forum trying to get my account frozen.

Got some great support from Damon who sorted it out quickly for me (and sent me a free paypal t-shirt for the inconvenience :D).

Can't complain - always found paypal's service to be good. (Have heard some horror stories, but there are always 2 sides to them).

Yes, that was the name I remember... Damon, Damon, where are you?

I get great support from PayPal. I went to the support section and filled out the form CORRECTLY then opted to ask a support question. It was answered within 24 hours, each time, no problems. Many times, it also depends on the support question, don't ask them questions that are already in the FAQ, those get pushed to the bottom of priority... read the FAQ and almost 80% of questions can be answered there.

As with microsoft, PayPal is the biggest in that area, so people will automatically say they "suck" or are not good... this is NOT the case. PayPal is the experience you make from it... read the instructions on how to use the service, read the FAQs, read the legal section, learn your rights, and you will be ok. It is amazing how many people don't read this stuff then get made because they got screwed! When the dust settles most of the time it is because they don't follow directions or did not read something in black and white.

I've had a paypal account for years, no problems. I put in support questions, no problems.

Good luck...

I also filled out their form.. in fact, now 4 forms. And I do know how to fill out a form. I cannot even get a negative response, let alone a positive one.

Their sister company, PayMate (also owned by EBay), responds before the ink is even dry.

Damon, where are you? Or have you quit in disgust?

Nothing wrong with calling the toll free and staying on the line for "the next available operator".

I always do that, and always get my issues resolved pretty quickly (i'm talking hours, not days).

Have tried phoning but after waiting 35 minutes on an overseas call, I gave up...

Paypal has a toll free #? Don't think so. I know they've got a pay #, but not a toll free #.

Contacting paypal through email is always a royal pain in the tail. Obviously there's reasons you would want to contact them through email rather than phone. IE: ANYTHING you want proof of (with paypal, ALWAYS get proof). That way you can show them the email if there are questions later.
