First I hope you understand that these are only my opinions, impressions I have in my search of a good provider. I you think i'm wrong I'll be happy to hear it from you. Now let's go:
.- Unitedhosting. Nice site and good support. It was 1st time i see the Ensim control panel and I liked it. But I'm lookig for Cpnel/WHM. I think 3GB for 30 domains it's a hard limit taking in mind my future customers. Their charges per excess are low. Don't give much information about the company. I think it's a must but I believe I can trust them.
.- hostalia.com. Spanish company, so support in my own language. 30$ for 250MB of space is a little bit high. The other specs are very limited too. Don't like.
.- citadelhost. A simple but effective site with very good prices (even too good) and good specs. Don't have forums to test customers satisfaction. Don't give big info, but have a good reputation.Though they back-up daily to a 2nd drive their are planing to make it off-line with less frecuency. Very good to me.
.- noc24.com. Sorry, but I Don't trust them. Their site seems to give more information than, in fact, they provide. Their answer to questions was fast but wasn't correct. Too low prices. Their customers doen't look to be very happy with some features. If I could trust them they would be high in my list.
.- httpme. Well... Like their site, cause you see the support at first sight, excelent reputation and satisfied customers. Their prices are slightly high with the new domain limits. Good uptime stats. BUT they don't give shared-SSL. I understand their explanation but for me would me enough, at the moment, work with it and don't want to spend in my own certificate. They are high in my list.
.- rochen. They were the only company who don't reply my question. After seeing good reviews here I espected something more. With good prices in plans but extras are really expensive (5,50$ from 100MB of sp. xcss) They have a great forums. So I'll maintain them in the reserve.
.- Alabanza. Unreal.
.- resellershosting.net.(techark) I think their site could be better. The best answer to my questions. They look really nice and responsive. Their stats (uptime) are great. Have a little plan very apropriate to begin. My biggest concern is their low populate forums. They are one of my best options.
.- hostexpress.com. Nice site. Expensive, a little inflexible. No forums. Don't like.
.- vshosting.net. The design is a little bit inconsistent (not all parts have the same) but nice. Good price and reputation. But their forums are restricted (as others here). So you don't see the real thing. They also have a little reseller plan to begin. Don't show stats. And athlon servers doesn't macht other Dual Xeons. They are high in my list too, but only to try. If I were more xpert with big demand of resources probably I don't choose them. But I'm almost a newbie. :)
.- fastezhosting. They have to change their site as soon as possible. I told why in another post. But it's nice. They have forums but have very low activity. Good price, but they say they use Celerons. Resources limits could a problem with them.
.- resellerstoday. Don't like their site. Good price and specs. The extras are a little bit expensive. No stats, no forums but they promote their customers. Allow you to use up to 20 % of system resources. Quite high. Their biggest plan is 2000 MB of space and 20GB of trandfer. After that you pay 20$/GB space and 2$/GB transf. Too high.
... I'll tell you more another day...
