hi,

i'm looking for a host that offers raq4i with low bandwidth plans (i probably won't need more than 25gb a month). of course it's good if i can upgrade bandwidth later when i need more. any advice? good customer support is a plus :) i know that bandwidth is the most expensive factor for hosts so i should be able to find something below $100/month, right?

thanks!

Would you prefer suggestions, or would you like me to move this to a place hosts can bid on your needs, then you can come back and ask about them, etc.?

Three of the hosts talked about often here for Cobalt servers are:

http://www.4webspace.com
http://www.rackshack.net
http://www.cobaltrack.com

hmm no thanks, i've had the chance to experience rackshack's customer service on another topic and i don't want that. i don't need 300gb anyway. 4webspace has no more stocks of raq4's and hmm cobaltrack ask $199/month for the raq4, and i don't want the raq3 since i need php/mysql.

chicken, can i post a request on the other forum? i want to give more details if it's for a request.

I wouldn't base your opinion of a company on few and sparse complaints. Also, take into consideration the circumstances of each complaint.

You can run php/sql on a RaQ3 (#1) though it does not come installed and yes, it is fine to have this thread for member's suggestions *and* post a request thread with specific needs for hosts to bid on directly.

I only mentioned a few that are talked about quite often here. I'm sure there are other hosts here who'd love the opportunity to bid on your needs and between the two threads I hope you find something that interests you.
