I am using Phoenix Mail Ver 0.93

It allows you to create unlimited email accounts. As I have quite a number of sites and find it very useful to use one email software to check mails for all my accounts.

It's free and you can download it at:

I think you should have put this in a different forum. I fail to see how this is an "Offer." :)
But, to answer your question, I prefer IncrediMail.
It's so simple to use. You can make different folders and rules so that incomming mail is grouped how you want it.

<<MOD NOTE:>>
I've moved it to the correct forum.

if you're wearing lots of hats for lots of websites, then install a nice webmail system which allows you to seperate the accounts, and access your mail from anywhere.

look at UbeuMiau (goto http://www.hotscripts.com and look around in the PHP section) which is a great POP3 reader made in PHP. it requires no database or anything, just PHP4.

if you like Outlook, go and download "Popper" which gives you an interface just like Outlook Express! You can download this from Hotscripts too, but this one needs a MySQL database.

good luck!

there's nothing really technical with these programs ... you simply copy a couple of files to your web space, and then simply access your mail from the web.

i can help you install UbeaMiau or any other webmail service for you, if you like. or, i can install the software on my domain and you can access your mail from anywhere in the world. i have a server with loads of unutilized space and bandwidth.

no, i won't take any money from you. yes, i'm a good guy ;)

take care

I currently use Calypso email client. I have thirteen email accounts running under it. An install of Calypso can handle one or more mailbox files, and each mailbox file can contain one or more email accounts. I use one mailbox file which handles 12 email accounts, and another mailbox file that handles just one account (that's my mailing lists account). I use the different mailbox files to handle the fact that I like to check the twelve accounts more frequently than my mailing list acocunt.

I have Calypso place incoming email for each account in a folder specifically for that acocunt. That is very easy to set up using the Filter functionality of Calypso.

Things I like about Calypso:

rock solid. I've used it for three years and I've never had it crash or lose any email on me. At my day job, I used Calypso to help me do some email server stress testing. Calypso easily retrieved 30,000+ messages from the mail server. MS Outlook crashed before it was able to retrieve 16,000 messages.
It's free.
I find the user interface to be very intuitive (of course, YMMV)
Everything needed for a mailbox file is contained in one file. All the messages, login info, filters, etc. This make sit very easy to manage the Calypso files.
The mailbox files are encrypted, with an optional password to open a mailbox file. Keeps out prying eyes.

Things I don't like about Calypso:

It is no longer a supported product. The company that developed it could not withstand the onslaught of the awful, yet omnipresent, MS Outlook Express. However, the developer is giving away Calypso for no charge now.

In any case, look here if you want to investigate Calypso further: http://www.calypsoemail.com

There is a place online,

http://www.e-mol.com

that allows you to check any pop3 e-mail account from any browser. Tis' quite convenient if you need to check your mail from a computer other than your own. It's free, and it's handy cause it doesn't remove any e-mail from your pop3 account, so when you check your mail from your home computer with an e-mail client, the mail will show up still in the client.

I would go with PocoMail ..

It's the most feature rich mailer there is, simple to use and it's inexpensive. The scripting ability it has is awesome, not needed for everyone but a plus for the tech savy individuals. It was the winner of the PC Magazine shareware awards for 2000 plus a whole lot more, go see their web page.
