Hello,
We need a system admin for one small job. We require two red hat linux servers (kernel 2.4.20-8) that need the following a few "forwarded" to one central server. We want to load balance (to prevent downtime and to share the high load) the web server, but we want the following ports on the two servers to "forward" to the central server so our users can still collect the mail/ftp from the front-end servers.
Hope that makes sense. The ports we want to forward are:
POP3
FTP
CPANEL (2082)
We've tried several tutorials using iptables, but it seems our kernel may be missing the required modules or settings to allow this to work. We've also tried using xinetd but with the same results.
We're willing to pay a competent sysadmin (paypal if possible) to sort this out for us.
Please respond here with quotes or PM me.
