Hello,

Im looking for a system that will allow me to charge customers for hosting and process credit cards real time.

Im in the U.S. and I am looking for a professional yet affordable solution.

I have just read through 28 threads on this board, and I still need some direct help.

I have nothing setup now (no gateway, certificates etc).

Could someone please tell me what I need to do to get up and running quickly and at a relatively low cost.

I posted a similar thread but I think I have reworded the question a lot better.

IF someone has already gone through the process and is happy with their current solution, please lay out what you had to do to get going.

Thank!

Narrow it down to either a full merchant account or more of a 3rd party solution.

Im pretty sure im looking for a full merchant account. I am under the impression that electronictransfer, propay, and sfcommerce can set this up for you?

Im basically looking for a solution that "hides" things, IE, not redirecting you to the revecome form.

Not to confuse you any more, but I believe a few users have set up their own forms to work with these, though I don't know if it ever redirects the user to revecom, etc. Ask a few of the revecom people about this and what the limitations are, but the person who comes to mind off the top of my head is Nick at http://www.twilight-online.net (at least I think that is his URL). I'll see if I can dig it out just in case he knows how to do it and I'm right. Stands a fair chance that I'm not and/or that he can't however.

Edit: Can't find his addy but almost certain that was his site...

Chicken -

Nick used Instabill with his own signup form - he never used Revecom.

Now he's using his own merchant account with UberSmith.

Yes, you had the right address :)

I'm not sure if Revecom will let you do this... but never hurts to ask... :)

Present Mr Shapiro :D

I used instabill, not revecom - but Im told the software is the same.

If there is a section in the MerchanCP named Merchant Variables then you will be able to do what I used to do.

If there isnt, you may need to contact Revecom directly and ask them about it.

So, if you have the merchant variables section - let me know and I'll try and find one of my old forms :)
