I think is it an outrage.
Even $199 is a lot of money for them to just look at the site, now that it is $300, what are your thoughts about the issue?

that is pretty elevated..

especially because this is only for the Consideration of adding your site to the directory.
Odds are, if the slightest thing is wrong with your site, you've wasted 300$.

Not that people arent still going to pay for it.

Acually, one slight thing does not matter, because you get from what I remember 30 days to fix it. Of course I was a FOOL and forgot to email them back to check it again. And yep, Im sure people will still pay for it.

People will pay.
They didn't even provide a extra service for the $100 that they will charge. They could have made it a 2-day response or something to prove themselves.
It only shows that they can do whatever the hell the want and no one can stop them.

also thought id mention

With GoTo.COM
you can probably purchase yourself 300Quality Clicks Throughs with 300$.

How many think its worth it to be listed in Yahoo! ?
I mean there must be 2000 other webhosts also listed.

I don't know heh. people around here(where I live) only knows yahoo.co.kr.
I asked some of my neighbors, they knew yahoo but didn't know goto.com. I myself don't use goto.com either.

I think people will still pay.
