I've got a couple of domins that I registered a long time ago when NSI was the only game in town. I'm in the process of moving them to another registrar.

The only wrinkle is/was that I don't have access to the e-mail account that I used when I originally setup the domains. No big problem I figured. I put in the change request for my contct handle, the faxed in the necessary paperwork to get it changed.

That was done on Tuesday the 28th. They say it will take 3 - 5 days for it to get processed. I called today to find out the status. After spending a lot of time on the phone and answering a lot of questions the nice lady asked me for the fax number that I sent the fax from. I have no idea what the fax number is because I sent it from work and we have dozens of fax hachines in my area.

Why the h*&& do they assign a number to these rquests if they track them by the fax number?

Any suggestions that anyone has to get this process completed so I can move away from NSI would be greatly appreciated.
