I just woke up from falling asleep for 2 hours and went to check my mail and hostiva's mail servers were not working. My site was not working either. This is the first time I checked my mail or website today, and was wondering how long tey have been down? Any other hostiva users which are not on the new server either because they never registered for it or you did register for it but never got a responce ( :confused: )? How long has hostiva been down? Just wondering, thanks.

My site on their new server. Currently, I can access my web site and check my e-mail. If you still on their old server, maybe better you move to the new one... :cool:

I'm still on the "old" Hostiva server. Went down about 6:30 pm Central time.

I e-mailed support, they are aware of the problem and cannot get the data center to answer the phone!

I've been trying to get set up on the new server, but the new control panel is driving me crazy! I can't get anything to work. It's just me not understanding it, I find it very confusing.

I'm glad they're moving to a new data center, it's obvious why they need to. My site has only been on Hostiva for a little over a week, and my uptime the first week was 75%:eek: NO KIDDING!

I'm not trashing Hostiva at all, I know they are trying. They said they were planning to move anyway, but it became an emergency due to the problems at the data center. I don't think they really had everything set up to go when they decided to move everyone.

I hope this gets straightened out soon.

The whole new server thing sounds great, I signed up for it a few days ago, absolutely no responce on it being set up. I think they don't like responding to my emails? I had a question on my account a few weeks ago and they never responded. But, they are probley so busy, with the new server stuff, so I guess I'll just be patient

Thanks, that's a good link you recommended, I've already been there, and it did help some, but it seems on the H-Sphere control panel you spend a lot of time clicking from one page to the next.

I uploaded my site but it's not available on the internet. Maybe I loaded it to the wrong directory or something, I'm too tired to mess with it now so I'm going to look at it again tomorrow.
