What happened to Serverhost's website? now we get a directory listing instead of the placeholder page. Email to support is bouncing, and Jefferey is nowhere to be found!

Jeffery, I am sorry to post this publically but I cann't seem to be able to get a hold of you! If you (or anyone from your company) see this please you or someone from your support team contact me ASAP.

Their support has gone downhill.

I hope this is some technical glitch and Jef will restore the good service he got us used to.

Looks like all the files on the account were deleted. Else it wouldn't show a directory listing of 24-Aug-2001.

Even plusweb.com email doesn't seem to be working right...
their online forums are also down, and the order form is not found...

Does anyone have a pager number for Jeffery?

Have you tried support@plusweb.com ? that is where I usually email.

Their email sometimes take the long way back, sometimes I get the reply saying something is fixed before the one saying we are working on it. The dates and times show the we are working on it was sent first but who knows why they email server didn't send it.

Support can be a bit dodge but so far Jeff has alwys sorted me out ok.

I have his ICQ number somewhere, if you want it email me.

I have not gotten a single e-mail from you man... Drop me a line directly at jeffrey.kehe@plusweb.com and I'll get you taken care of. I've personally been having some health problems, and haven't been around... If you call our 800# which you got in the welcome e-mail, you should be able to talk to someone also.

Again, I apologize for any inconvenience.

Jeff,

How about my MRTG stats? I've been waiting since the 14th for these... You said it would be a "little while" but I think it's far past that. I've sent many ICQs, and emailed jkehe@serverhost.com which is the email address you have left in many posts on this board.

Sorry to hear about your health Jef. I hope you get better soon.
Again I emailed you to the new address you specified from my server and also from a yahoo email account, still no response.
Please email me at wazeh@yahoo.com or get on icq so we can
talk. Also you might want to enable your PM preferences on this forum so people can contact you directly. The last thing I wanted to do is to post this in public, but I had no choice...

_G_ I have Jef on my icw contact list, thanks. I sent him messages but it seems he didn't get on icq for a while.

He had good service and I hope the good service will continue... once we can reach him :D

I don't think I'd necessarily call it bad service yet...

The data center in atlanta has been up 100% of the time, which is awesome! Thanks for that smart move...

MRTG stats aren't urgent, but I would like them as soon as you get around to them... and if that's not for awhile, that's fine, just an expected date or something.

Hope your health returns to normal... probably too much stress eh?

Is it OK to call Plusweb instead of going through Jeff?

I have an emergancy with my server - since I got it almost 3 weeks ago, it has had no end of problems - and not much uptime.

THis morning I checked the server which still has no accounts on it because I am still trying to 'trust' it, and the server load is 220!

220 says to me a major hard drive failure - would this be right to assume that?
Its been this high for over 3 hours.
I tried rebooting it, but because the load is so high, it isn't registering the reboots.

<<EDIT>>
1:10pm up 3 days, 21:17, 1 user, load average: 244.47, 243.14, 240.64
<</EDIT>>

I have lost all trust in this server and really would like a full refund, but was told I won't be getting it. Jeff did say he would start the payments as of last Friday when I got the 'working' server tho.

But how can I run a business off a server that has only been up 1 week out of 3 weeks?

It could easily be that someone has broken into the system. It isn't running Red Hat by any chance is it?

I really think that this thread is inappropriate for support. You called in and talked to our people, but still felt the need to post here. It sounds to me like you might have some misconfiguration with apache. Moderators, I would really appreciate it if you lock this thread, because I really feel that support should be kept in the support forum. Loai has been in contact with me, and we are working on the issue with their server. James waited less than two hours before posting his issue here - even after talking to our people on the phone.

Well, in any case, if you need to contact me, you can e-mail jeffrey.kehe@plusweb.com and I'd be more than happy to work to resolve any issues.
