For everyone who thinks the world of hosting companies are run by 1 person, please think again. My company has 5 employees and there is 3 separate companies run within the WHNHosting name, which means those divisions have employees of their own.

Our webmaster (Andrei) which is from Romania made the initial design, so we decided to go with it. no biggie......1 image in the folder needed to be changed, which has been done

Regardless, im certainly not going to loose any sleep over such a minor issue

You're not going to lose much sleep over the fact that one of your company's webmasters seemingly stole an entire site layout from another company?

You very nicely avoided the topic... and i fail top see what "number of employees" has to do with stealing designs.

Or are you saying iPower stole from you guys?

i didn't say, your hosting company was run by "1 person"
when i was stumbling around Google, i thought to myself i seen this design somewhere else(ipowerweb) and i also new somebody here was a rep from the company; being you, so i thought you might like to comment; which you did.

i also think its more than just a image rip now, definately also with the navigation etc! all looks to be copied, but i'm not a designer, it's just what i see from my perspective.

i just thought potential consumers of your company, may like to be aware of this issue with potentially copyrighted material.

Any site that has loud random music on it (like whnhosting.com) loses me instantly.

I still fail to understand why so many hosting companies feel the need to put music on their website. WHY? You are not a band, a DJ, or a composer. Your music is not unique or original (especially if you're using a template.) And music serves to annoy your end users -- even if it's only 10% of your potential customers that you annoy, wouldn't you rather have had a chance to make the sale instead of having them immediately close their browsers?

This is a note to anyone who runs a hosting company with musc on their website (not just whnhosting.com): Take the music off the site. It does not add any value to your website. It does not make you "1337". It serves no useful purpose. Get rid of it.

maybe im missing something, but that page doesnt go anywhere but to our home page

Its starting to sound like a daycare around here with all the crying going on (Erica for one...)

As far as im concerned, the thread is dead, the 1 image that was in question has been removed, so move on, get a life. Im glad to know that while im out making money, you guys are wasting your days picking apart websites

But what about the complete copy of iPower, the site wasn't just "1 image" is was the entire site, including navigation, images, and code, which you now have redirected elsewhere....

no it wasnt, the image was of the lady and the arrows, thats the only thing that Andrei copied over. I removed the image and replaced it with our own, which took 2 minutes to do.

Last I checked you cant copyright a layout, which is our own layout that Andrei created.

I did already admit that he copied the Ipower image, at which time, i removed it. Now, wheres the problem again? because i fail to see there is one at this time

The problem lies in the fact you ripped iPower's entire site (don't even bother lying about "1 IMAGE" because more than myself saw the memphis link).

Hey, if you're happy with stealing other's codes, knock yourself out
