Or should I call them Nitwit Insolutions.

Had a customer who's domain is registered through them, went through the hassle of trying to change the name servers.

Seems easy enough but every time I do it, the name server comes up as something totally different. I mean really different.

Totally different name and ip address, almost opposite of what I have typed in.

After emailing and calling, info is still not correct and it's been almost 2 weeks. Got fed up last night and put in a transfer to Go Daddy. I figure $10 is worth my sanity.

We've had a hell of a time getting NSI to acknowledge that our nameservers exist. EnableHosting.com is registered through Register.com (a company with whom we've never had trouble, although I know some people have), and thusly NSI thinks that they can't do anything about it. I spent five hours on the phone with them on Wednesday, talking with five different people at seemingly five different levels of support. I had to fax them an authorization letter asking them to change the nameservers in their registry, since they refuse to use the global registry. They even offered me EXPEDITED SERVICE (for only $29.95 they'd make the change within one business day instead of five).

<<EDIT>> Congratulations on your wise move. You would have wasted 20 times the amount you paid for GoDaddy's services if you had stayed with NSI.
