I recently setup my server and have managed to get one website of my 5 or so up and running. The one that works is torontoracing.net and when you type the url in it goes to my index file (perfect). The other sites (canadaracing.ca, ottawaracing.ca) give an error message (this page cannot be displayed) when they are typed in. I have setup everything the same. It has been 48 hours since I repointed my dns to the correct server. The one that is working was registered with yahoo domains and other were with canadian register. There must be a connection there.

Also whenever I go into WHM I get a message saying it can't find an A record for my nameservers or something. It asks me if I want to add one and say yes...it goes throught a process but never fixes anything. I get this message:

Zone does not exist, a new zone for dgmedia. will be created.
Sorry, a DNS entry for dgmedia. already exists, please delete it first.

I added A records to my nameservers succesfully in WHM before. How do I get this message to stop comming up? I sent in a trouble ticket 6 hours agos and I despretely need these sites up.

It looks like your torontoracing.net domain is still using the yahoo nameservers, but the A record does appear to point to your new server. You should be aware that your MX record is still pointing to yahoo mailservers so you won't get any mail for your domain at your new server. See the link below.

http://www.dnsreport.com/tools/dnsreport.ch?domain=torontoracing.net+

Your other 2 domains have ns1.canadaracing.ca and ns2.canadaracing.ca as their nameservers, but those nameservers do not appear to exist.

Looks like you've got your work cutout, Danny.

Seems all of your Domains point to Yahoo Nameservers. If that's the way you wanted it to be, then no problem. Otherwise, you need to create a Reseller account for main Domain (this is the one used in your Hostname), then create Nameservers for it (adding A records as well), then add the problem Domains as sub-accounts, then update Nameserver information with your Registrar for each sub-account.

Even your main Domain (which appears to be: montrealracing.com) uses Yahoo Nameservers. It is also mis-spelled in your WHT Web site link. :)

Thanks for the replies guys.

Rob,

You said all my domains point ot yahoo nameservers. Only my toronto and montreal sites are registered with yahoo. ottawaracing.ca and canadaracing.ca are registered with canadianregister.ca and have no affiliation with yahoo. Surprisingly, the toronto and montreal sites are the only ones working the way they should. I have not re-directed montrealracing yet (I'm waiting until I get this sorted out) but torontoracing was redirected and works great.

I have also done all you suggested i do with the reseller accounts and creating a records. Everything seems to be in order with the server but then again I'm new to managing my own.

I'm with Server Matrix and I sent in a trouble ticket 8 hours ago with no reply yet. Mabye I'll just call the tech guy like I usually do.

Thanks again.

I just resolved the issue with my host. My nameservers were setup in different zones and the A records were messed up and they fixed it for me. I hate being a newbie to something.

Thanks guys.
