You forgot to throw in the router costs to handle that much traffic so add another 20-40,000 or more one time onto that.

I believe , he was referring to routers failing like the thing failed bec. of the routers software or simply an upgrade to its RAM.

You can get an OC3 (155Mbps) for around $40,000/month + loop costs.

If you do not have a large router that will run you about another $30,000 for something good and loaded like a Cisco 7206.

Good Router - 45K includes OC3 card - Fiber hand off to switch.

Loop - 8,500-15,000 "depends on location"
Full - 35,000.00 - 60,000 - Depends on whcih provider"

If you have OC3 you would need a decent Switch with Fiber handoff.

most providers are 1 year minimum contract,


Then the all the utilities - UPS / Genrators ect..
