Until now, as a Canadian, when I made a purchase/payment via Paypal, if the transaction amount was more than what was currently in my Paypal account, they would draw the difference from my credit card. No other choice.
Now, (finally), I can specify if I want those additional funds to be drawn from my credit card or my bank account.
Coooooooooooooool.

I thought that option was always there if you verify with your bank account.
It was only available if you had a bank account drawn on a US bank. They are now extending it to Canada.

Thats true....I heard Western Union Money Transfer has already made a huge entry in India.

Its about time,
Its always bothered me and others when paypal was mainly "US"
Good to see they moved onto a neighbouring country.
When I was talking to the Paypal rep on the phone, I told him that I figured the reason they were ignoring us Canadians was that we took the World Series back to back in 92/93 and they were still bitter... :D

Well, it's okay I suppose. I'm a naturally suspicious person...so any company no matter who they are with their hands on my bank account makes me nervous :D
I created a separate bank account just for paypal. Makes me feel more at ease.

And then he laughed and reminded you that there have been more than two world series, most of which have been one by American teams.
So, they got lucky a couple years in a row ... big deal. :D
