Hi to everyone I am new to this board. I have been a web designer for the past 6 yrs and a network admin in Canada for the past 2 yrs and figured i'd give reselling a try for a new project. I was looking into serveral companies for reselling and NOC24 seem to have the best overall packages for your buck. Only problem is their support needs a great improvement. I have left 2 emails in the past 2 days with out one response, I also tried to call their toll free number and guess what its no longer in service. Are these guys just a flash in the pan or have they been around sometime. I have not joined with them yet, and now problaby won't. To me in my past experiance Support is a number 1 priority to any company.

Another newbie post regarding Noc24 :/

I hate to tell you, but with the suspicions surrounding Noc24 on this board, I don't think many people would recommend them..

There are a lot more well know companies on here that offer the same bang for your buck. I would recommend Dathorn.com maybe at this time. You can check around in the offers forum.

well from what i read about Dathorn.com I wouldn't wanna run to them too quick. Who eles offers things like ServerMate and HostSite and the space and BW for the pricing they ask for? Also anyone know any good places to for Gaming servers That is something I am intrested in selling also.

Noc24 certainly isn't the cheapest reseller provider out there.. There are much cheaper

There are companies out there that offer stuff much better than ServerMate, including ClientExec and Modernbill. Check around. I believe there are a few that offers these included in their accounts free.

Noc24 also offers fantastico, and thats about it. Most companies also offer that.

noc24 support has been great for me, I however don't email them for support, I use ICQ, MSN or ticket, their replies are fast. They did tell me that SUPPORT is a priority over sales. And if you aren't a customer your email probably won't be answered as quickly as a if you are a customer with a support issue.

But, I am in and a customer, support is great to customers, when one needs, it, which isn't much at all for me. Also asverse, I think you are just trying to smear someone else, this has been going on a lot recently.

If you are interested in a reseller account and don't want to go with noc24 there are plenty of options.

I am not trying to 'smear' someone else. I have just been discussing a lot with 'centrahost' on AIM about his services and such. We have some quite interesting discussions that I do not care to share. If I did, you may have a different opinion of that company.

well if new inquires are not answered as quick that don;t say much for thier sales end. ANyone new to looking into a hosting compny and has to wait 2 days for a reply i's have to say the flags are going to go off. As for the other hosts could you refer a few please. to give me a bit more comparison. Thanks in advance.

ASverse, in that case I appreciate your opinion, however I have had good service from them, a little AIM chat probably woudlnt bother me much at all, esp since I have a dedicated server and other reseller accounts if something does go wrong. But I don't see that happening right now. Anyway, I am glad you have at least had a chat and not just spewing here like some do.

I gave URLs of a few above that should answer sales questions fast.

Also there is httpme.com crediblehost.com and others, but those I would say are among the better ones from posts here, and if someone sees this please don't be offended, I can't remember every host that seems good, these just stand out.

I just called the toll free number to see if your statement was true. They picked right up.

It is not true. Did you lie or did you call the wrong number?

Make sure you know what you are talking about before you post something like that please.

I had never heard of Noc24 till I found their offer here on WHT. I have tested their support via the local phone number, their 800# and Instant Messeger and various times of the day and night.

I have gotten a quick response every time. I called after 2AM on last Wednesday to order a dedicated server, they answered the phone and took my order. They had my server set up by the end of the business day Thursday. I have been very pleased with them so far.

Hmmm thats very Odd I called this number 877.740.8948 is it possible casue i am in Canada and the nuber is only good for the States then? As For Lying why would I lie about something like that i was impressed with what I seen on their site and wanted in. I was just disapointed with the support also I heard someone mention yahoo or aim where did you find that contact info.

I have signed up a few days ago for one of their reseller plan. A bit of delay but they were nice to tell me about the problem. Everytime I sent an email I got a quite fast response. That guy, Kevin, is very helpful. My questions were often of the newbie kind but not only he replied but he explained.

Well I see a few of you jumping in to come too the defense of this company and the good experiences you have with them. I even seen a post by one of their owners (or owner not sure). But one thing I noticed was he never did make a response to my original post. Everyone talking about how quick they are to get back to them. But funny thing is even after all this posting I still have not received a email response. I figured maybe after posting and even having one of their people here they would have though hmm maybe I should check the email. I have now said the heck with it and decided to go with a Dedicated Server instead with the possibility of running my own reseller Program for people. Thanks for all the responses to this topic, and good luck to all with your ventures.

Maybe you guys would like to "paste" your mails to NOC and the "fast" replies you received from them. At least there is some "proof".

I have been with them....ermm for 3 days...their MSN support is very nice indeed and things are done right away without long wait!

Especially the price I am paying for is very good!

What "proof" is that? anyone can fake an email.

Maybe I can record my phone calls, convert them to MP3's and upload them and post the links for you to download. :D

You see how ridiculous this whole thing is?

People can't even give a thumbs up without someone asking for proof. Or thumbs down for that matter.

My emails to noc24 have never been replied, before and after I got an account with them. They did very well on MSN to persuade me to stay though. But dispointingly, after I joined, my emails to either noc@noc24.com or support@noc24.com are not replied, my support tickets have not been answered. I asked on MSN later on about my tickets and they didn't explain.

I feel that once I catch them on MSN they are generally helpful. But I don't use MSN often (in two occassions they were not online) and I probably won't phone them (not in North America). I just want reliable email and ticket support. So far neither is accountable.
