If thats what your gaming admin is saying then go with an AMD, maybe even a Duron. It really just depends, how many gaming servers you want to put on it, how many players .. etc.., what games.

CS Server or a BF1942 server which uses lot more resources.. etc..

It be CS server. I am thinking of putting MAX total of 50 player spots. Like (2) 25 or (5) 10

I'd go with the

AMD XP 2400 $125/month Free
512 MB RAM
80 GB Hard Drive
1000 GB Transfer/month

You may want 1 GB of RAM.

AMD gives you more performance for the money, as long as you can keep the heat under control. With 512MB of RAM, 2 servers is the best you're going to get. I'd go with the 2000+ out of those choices, but single proc systems make pretty iffy game servers.

I would go with the AMD 2400+ and upgrade the RAM to 1GB for 50 slots of CS.
