There's been a few posts in the pasts of hosting companies spamming other hosting companies with offers to host websites (obviously sending out bulk e-mail without realizing who they're spamming :dunce: ). The latest is Bizland.com, with a full bandwidth-heavy HTML e-mail offering to host one of the inactive domains I own. (I deleted the domain name and e-mail addresses from the quote below, and obviously the graphics aren't going to show up.)

We got the same ...about 20 times on all accounts. :angry:

THey used to bug me, but now for some reason, they don't email me anymore (several..several months ago). Maybe you ought to stop 'email' replies and start faxing replies for the 'unsubscribe' link and do one fax per email. (I don't remember if they provided an unsubscribe link)

Haha.. I just got the same one. Maybe I should spam them back with my advertisement. =)

Bizland only has so many members because most of them are warez getting the free catchall email. 90% of the people that signup at our free host is warez and get deleted almost immediately. They try to signup with us with 20+accounts using their anythinghere@catchalltheirname.bizland.com.

I'm coming reeeaaal close to just banning any signups with a bizland email..if Bizland killed all their warez and porn clients they would have what? like 50 clients left?...LOL

Yeah. They keep spamming me too. I had 2 sites with them. They were pretty good actually - fast and reliable. I understand their wanting to go with the pay model, since that seems to be the trend today. But hey, don't spam. It's annoying, and certainly not professional. Seems to me that bizland.com should be added to the spamming databases.
