for my soccer site I need the following:

1-MOST POWERFUL chat room (CGI) but FREE:) I am not willing to pay at the moment, but i may upgrade to a pay one after covering my expenses.

2-I have iconboard, Yabb and Xsorbit messageboards, This board here is a killer, but i guess it costs money:)so plz what u recommend? icoonboard or yabb or zsorbit?

it is great board with cool features, so i am happy with it, but i want to host it on my server.

3- I need powerful free polls in perl5.

I do care about a state of the art chat room, as this will bring me great traffic, plz help me, remember...i won't pay a penny :)

Just a note that if this is a shared host, the majority of the cgi chats are pretty resource intensive and many host prohibit you from running them. Even if they don't, the script will be killed as soon as it gets popular. Have a back up plan.

any suggestions to get a chat room, free of charge, powerful features and without ads?

I suppose a java interface to a IRC would do, eh? Also someone at another site suggested iChat. I have no info on it but if you can't find it, I'll attempt to get some info and post it here. I believe it was cgi, but I can't be sure.

I would find a java chat applet and an IRC server you're comfortable on and have a chat room that way. I do that for several of my sites and it works great :)

But i don't know any java, i am using dreamweaver and i have fireworks too, i need to add the chat room in cgi or anything of comparable quality

if i can log from my site to irc chat ...it will be great but plz can u guide me in details what i have to do step by step?:)
