Why do you ask?

If you're referring to the large batch of reviews that came from the same day I wouldn't really worry about it. Cedant has pretty good reviews everywhere (at least on host search). They probably send out a message to all their customers asking them to submit a review for them.

Also, I did a neotrace on some of those domains in the e-mails of the people that submitted the reviews and they all mentioned Cedant as the technical contact.

From my experience some companies add their company to a hosting directories, and then go to the review page and add ALL their GOOD testimonials to the site.

I don't see anything to be concerned about with Cedant Web Hosting. A while back I had considered them and was very pleased with their response time to my inqueiries, they had impressed me quite a bit, but I went with another host, ____________.com for 7.95/mo because they offered more features (not such a good deal).

I would not so, however, that they could not have pulled that off, I've heard of that happening with companies but I seriously doubt it.

I have no doubt they wrote all the reviews themselves! They have done this on other sites as well! They are the people who own hostreview.com and just look at how Cedant is promoted on hostreview.com! It's all 9's and 10's.. Cedant.com is the only recommended host on hostreview.com .. go figure, these people are scam masters.

I have a friend who's hosted with Cedant. And the service and the servers, according to him, are tops so far. I've never heard a complaint from him and all he ever tells me are good words about Cedant.

'Course, with all my other webhosting options, I have never tried Cedant. There are cheaper hosts that provide more. But people who are perfectly content with them probably didn't want to go through the hassles of moving in exchange for saving a couple of dollars. :)

Give credit to Alabanza who hosts their servers, not them.. Of course it's not beyond them to pretend they have their own network (as they do on their web site). These guys do not deserve any business just because of their unethical, if not illegal, shameless promotion.
