a friend of mine has a domain of his own, when asked who hosted his website, this is what he said

www.His_Domain.com is hosted by him
subdomain.His_Domain.com is hosted by someone else

?:confused: huh ?? i don't get it ... if hiswebsite.com is hosted by him then how come his subdomain is then hosted by someone else ??

Have you asked him? Maybe the sub-domain is hosted for free. Or maybe it is used in some conjunction with the supporting host.

cause he doesn't want to host his subdomain :D
