Please help...
I need to do a fast move from my current dedicated provider to someone with a little better support and uptime. I am not here to flame any hosting companies, so I won't give the name, but I have been with them only two weeks and I have already experienced 18 + hours of downtime!!!!

Help!!!!!

I am debating between:

Dialtone
Rackspace
rackmounted.com
burst.net

Any fast an unbiased opinions on these would be appreciated.

Never was with one of them but I can recommend http://www.venturesonline.com

Put interserver networks (http://www.interserver.net) onto your list to check. They have excellent support and their noc (VDI) is one of the fastest I've seen on these boards. =)
Oh.. They also have reasonable,affordable,get more than what you pay for prices.

You cant beat the uptime and professionalism of Dialtone.

Weinbar.com has been great in terms of up time for us. Nearly perfect for 3 months... Their support staff is sometimes busy, but where it counts - they do good.

There is a very long thread on this forum about Rackspace, I believe, so you might want to do a search on them to find those comments. The others, I don't know about. I would recommend that you add Pegasus (at http://www.pwebtech.com)to your list of places to check, though, as our experience with them has been excellent.

Count my vote for RackSpace. Excellent service, solid network connectivity. I've had no problems at all with my servers (Linux).

he..he.. i personally think, that you can't beat above.net west coast's uptime..... ive been with them for 5 months now, and ive had a total of what.. 45 min down time, somethign like that.. Above.net is the best i have ever seen... i would never switch.
