If you could benefit from management, monitoring, and/or automation services, Synchron Networks want to hear from you!

Tell us what kinds of services you want. We provide a management platform. We can develop services for you, or your existing management company can use our platform to deliver their services to you. And, of course, you can always use our platform to develop and deliver your own solutions.

Synchron Networks’ flagship product, Everserve, provides a secure, reliable platform for systems management. This platform is extensible through an API, CLI, and web services. Developing new services is as simple as wrapping your scripts in XML and broadcasting them via the central manager. The target machines execute your scripts and send the results (including success codes and error messages) back to a central management database in a return receipt.

Everserve is highly secure, in fact, it’s the most secure platform of its kind, employing automated PKI encryption and digital certificate validation for every communication. It’s more secure than VPN or SSH.

Everserve’s features include:

Many or Single -
Delivers to 1 machine or many at your request.

Class management -
Manages targets in “communities” to make deliveries easier. (If you have 500 Linux, 500 Windows, and 500 Solaris machines, you can put them in separate communities and execute deliveries to each separately.)

Reliability –
Uses JMS Message Queuing to ensure deliveries (This means if your machine goes offline during a delivery it will resume where it left off when it comes back online. Or, if your machine is offline at delivery time, it will pick up the delivery when it gets back online.)

Security –
Automated PKI encryption + Certificate validation

Auditing –
All deliveries generate return receipts to a central database

Portability –
Written in Java, runs wherever JVM runs

Scalability –
Relay system scales readily to thousands per community
Extensibility – API, CLI, and Web Services make it easy to add new features

Typical Everserve uses:

Patch management –
update your OS or software packages

Data delivery –
securely and reliably move data
Obtains proof of delivery
Non-repudiation of delivery

Diagnostics –
run diagnostics on large numbers of machines at once
(Then use the Web UI to search for errors and failures to fix)

Management –
Make system changes on a small scale or a large scale

Automation –
Perform repetitive tasks to any number of machines

As you can see, the Everserve platform is feature-rich and powerful. It cost approximately $14 million to build, and was developed by some of Silicon Valley’s most experienced developers and architects. Visit Synchron’s web site at www.synchronnetworks.com.

We invite hosts of any size to contact us. We can negotiate pricing that fits any schedule, even revenue sharing if you prefer to defer costs.

We also invite administrators, developers, service providers, hosts, and ISPs of all sizes to contact us for partnering opportunities. We’re starting services development and services provider initiatives and welcome the opportunity for partnering and feedback.

Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions.
